Trip to Seldovia – dreamy village across Kachemak Bay where time stands still

Seldovia is a little non-touristic village – a secret- about 45 min across from Homer and kachemak bay. It’s the cutest little village. My highlight was seeing once almost extinct wild sea otters:

They were hunted systematically by the Russians and Americans until almost extinct for their extraordinary pelts
One of the first things we saw getting off the ferry:

Bald eagle – Here my canon would have taken the better picture for sure!
This boat is famous – it’s from a fishing TV show but I’ve never seen it and forgot the name

    The boat is from deadliest catch, a show that was here on Discovery on Alaska (or at least very cold weather) fisher men. I’ve seen it many times
