Richardson Hwy 3/3, Fairbanks and cabin experience #3

After a night from 30C to 0C, I continued north on Richardson Highway.

This land was part of the land given to a few hundred American families in Chena valley in the 1950s as part of the Homestead Act to settle Alaska. They came here to farm but only few remained.

Sonde this is the farthest North I will go, I’ll try to see the aurora borealis tonight 🤞 it starts to be visible around August 21st, so I might get lucky.

All good things must come to an end 20 years of friendship Sea lions, first black bear, dead salmon and Mt Sanford (4949m)
