Vía Ferrata in Banff up Mount Norquay

We had another early start at 7.00 and drove up to North American Lodge at the bottom of Mount Norquay. We did a guided 6-hour vía Ferrata.

There are only guided tours up Mt Norquay AC and several different routes. We did the summiteer which goes all the way to the summit.

We almost couldn’t start due to bad weather. We had to wait at the lift station 40 minutes. The sky portrayed a dramatic sceneries:

Banff village

Banff is a super cute town similar to Revelstoke or Whistler: lots of outdoors enthusiasts, climbers, bikers, hikers, outdoor shops and cool restaurants. All nestled between mountains.

We did our laundry, used WiFi (to post a blogpost 😉 had a curry and drove to our campground on Johnston canyon.
