We drove most of the day from Lake Edith Campground near Kamloops to Revelstoke.
Revelstoke is a super cute and hip sports village in the middle of like 10 mountains. We found out there is a public holiday and long weekend so most campgrounds were packed. We got lucky as the one we chose in Revelstoke with service to charge our battery for the fridge was full but the owner let us hook up to his house and charge up our battery. The place is called lamplight campground and is more urban than we usually choose but since Revelstoke is a great town, we wanted to be close so we could explore it.
This also meant we could park on the grassy field in front of his house away from the packed campground.
And we also found Poutine! You gotta eat this when in Canada – fries with gravy and cheese curds. This was amazing – as you can see from the picture:
This pass is for a family of 7 and valid for 1 year. it was the same price as getting 7 single day passes that we needed. A great reason to came back within the next 12 months.
